All India Carrom Federation (AICF)

MUMBAI: Leading carrom players from across the country will be seen in action vying for top honours in the 49th LIC of India Senior National Carrom Championship 2021-2022, organised by the All India Carrom Federation (AICF) and hosted by the Maharashtra Carrom Association (MCA) will be played at the Shree Halari Visa Oswal Samaj Hall, Dadar (East) starting from March 30 to April 3, 2022. 

ONGC, Indian Oil, Union Bank of India and Hindustan Petroleum are the co-sponsors of this 5-day championship.

NEW DELHI: The Supreme Court has allowed the All India Carrom Federation (AICF) to conduct the 45th National junior championship in Nagpur from January 28 to 31, as scheduled. The Supreme Court had, on January 4, stayed the order of the Division Bench of the Delhi High Court that had revived the functioning of the AICF, with a full-fledged judgement, The Hindu reports.

NEW DELHI: The Supreme Court has ordered a stay on the operation of the judgement and order of the Division Bench of the Delhi High Court, based on which the All India Carrom Federation (AICF) had regained the government recognition. In the order dated January 4, Chief Justice Dipak Mishra, Justice AM Khanwilkar and Justice DY Chandrachud effected a stay, The Hindu reports.

NEW DELHI: The Delhi High Court has empowered the All India Carrom Federation (AICF), elected on November 29, 2015, to function.  A division Bench of the High Court comprising Justice Vipin Sanghi and Justice Najmi Waziri gave its ruling in response to a review petition, while at the same time recalling an earlier order that resulted in the setting up of an ad-hoc committee to govern the game, The Hindu reports.
