MONACO: The World Athletics Championships in Oregon have been rescheduled to 15-24 July in 2022, following the postponement of the Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games to 2021 due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The Oregon World Championships were originally scheduled for 6-15 August, 2021, but have been rescheduled to the following year to avoid a clash with the Olympic and Paralympic Games.

MONACO: Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, World Athletics has postponed the bidding processes for 2023 World Athletics Series events.
The bidding processes for the 2023 World Athletics Cross Country Championships and the 2023 World Athletics Relays will now open in November.
Bidding processes for future World Athletics Series events beyond 2023 remain unchanged.

MONACO: World Athletics announced Monday that the qualification period for the Tokyo Olympic Games is suspended effective from 6 April until 30 November included, following consultation with its Athletes' Commission, Area Presidents and Council.

MUNICH: Due to COVID-19 pandemic the New Delhi Organising Committee has been forced to cancel Rifle/Pistol and Shotgun World Cups, International Shooting Sport Federation announced Monday. Both of these were due to take place in New Delhi.
Rifle and Pistol events were planned to be held from 5th to 13th May and Shotgun from 20th to 29th May.
