
NEW DELHI: The All India Football Federation (AIFF) has taken the first steps towards restarting football in the country, its president Praful Patel said on Monday unveiling the governing body’s new motto – ‘Indian Football. Forward Together’.
Speaking about the motto, Mr. Praful Patel, President, All India Football Federation, stated: “AIFF has already taken the first step to bring back sporting activities in the country and it is only becoming possible because all the stakeholders are working seamlessly and tirelessly in this direction.”
The motto is based on the core belief of the Federation to promote, grow and develop the game of football throughout India with the support of the football community, and creates synergy with the core values of the organization – passion, respect, leadership, teamwork, integrity, professionalism and inclusivity.
The Indian Super League will be the first football sporting competition to resume operations in the country after the covid19 pandemic. The event is set to start on October 20th to be hosted in Goa.
