Tennis legend & smart-device leader, come together for a unique association, OPPO India strengthens the 5G future

Creating a unique pathway for the future stars of tennis, two legends have come together to empower young talent through the power of 5G. In a first-of-its-kind initiative, global smart device brand OPPO, along with retired pro-player Guy Forget, had a video call on OPPO’s famed Find X2 Pro device with junior tennis players from all around the world while being on the grounds of Roland-Garros.

Highlighting the capabilities of the next generation 5G technology, OPPO has aptly showcased how the power of technology can bring scores of people closer to each other, while helping youngsters explore and chart their future growth story. During the call, the Managing Director of OPPO France, Denis Morel, along with Roland-Garros Director Guy Forget discussed how technology continues to shape the world of sport at large, and motivated young tennis players to adapt to the changing realities and keep chasing their dreams despite the highs and lows. India was also one among the many countries participating in the call, and rising tennis player Shaikh Humera joined OPPO India’s Hyderabad R&D team to gain this unique experience. Currently ranked No.5 in under-18 category and nine in women’s category, Shaikh Humera had won her maiden national title in under-18 last year.
