A woman employee at the All Indian Football Federation (AIFF) headquarters here has lodged a "verbal" complaint of "harassment" against a male colleague, according to a source in the national body. (More Sports News | More Football News)

The woman is, however, yet to press a formal charge.

Nonetheless, the Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) of the AIFF met on Tuesday to discuss the matter where she sought time before proceeding any further with her complaint.

Sitharaman, however, did not announce any significant changes in the allocations for sports in 2024/25, despite 2024 being an Olympic Year.  It is to be noted though that the overall allocation for the sports sector has increased from Rs 3,397.32 crore last year to Rs 3442 crores for 2024-2025.
