The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) is planning to float a tender for the next cycle of Asia Cup media rights in the next one month, and is looking to complete the process by July, Cricbuzz reports. 

Per the cricket platform, the ACC will be offering both a four-year and eight-year deal but the impression from the broadcasters is that eventually the parties will settle for the long term option. There will be four Asia Cups in the tender with two 50-over championships and two Twenty20 competitions.

The International Cricket Council Friday releaseed its Invitation To Tender (ITT) for media rights for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) market. Following the successful conclusion of media right agreements in several markets including India, Sub Saharan Africa, the United Kingdom, the United States of America and Canada, the ICC is now starting its media rights process in the Middle East and North Africa.

MUMBAI: Private sector lender IDFC First Bank has repotedly secured the title rights for the home international series of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).  It has acquired the rights for Rs 4.2 crore per international game as compared to the previous value of Rs 3.8 crore, Cricbuzz on friday. The base price for the bidding was set at Rs 2.4 crore.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is expected to earn PKR 8 to 10 billion ($27 million to $33.75 million) from the sale of media rights for the Pakistan Super League (PSL) and international cricket. Although two channels are vying to participate, one of them is currently blacklisted due to previous issues related to non-payment, per Pakistani media reports.
