Universal Music joins hands with eSports company

COLOGNE: The Central European division of Universal Music Group (UMG) have announced a multi-year partnership with ESL Gaming, the world’s biggest eSports company that will be managed out of UMG’s Berlin headquarters.

The aim of the agreement is to exclusively help Universal discover and promote new artists through ESL’s global tournaments and channels. In an industry first, UMG will partner with ESL to create the ultimate destination for gaming and music fans alike to experience the official soundtrack of the world’s esports leagues and tournaments.

MUMBAI: Indian esports team Marcos Gaming (MG) has signed a deal with Pocket Aces's Indian live streaming platform Loco.  Marcos Gaming broke the news on their Instagram handle. According to the deal, top athletes from Marcos Gaming will stream exclusive content on Loco.  The content partnership deal was facilitated by Baseline Ventures, Marcos Gaming's marketing agency.

Andhra Pradesh imposes blanket ban on online gambling
MUMBAI: Andhra Pradesh has imposed a blanket ban on online gambling, targeting direct restrictions on online poker and rummy services. Perni Venkataramaiah, the state’s Minister of Transport, Information and PR, confirmed the news, stating that the Council of Ministers had agreed to amend the state’s 1974 Gaming Act to implement the ban.
