MUMBAI: Indian sprinter Dutee Chand will get custom-made gear in her bid to qualify for next year’s Tokyo Olympics after signing a two-year deal with Puma, the German sportswear company said on Thursday.
Like South African Olympic champion Caster Semenya, Chand suffers from hyperandrogenism but was cleared to race in 2015 following a Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) ruling on gender testing guidelines.

MUMBAI: India's badminton star PV Sindhu is the only athlete from the country (no surprises there) to be named among the world's highest-paid female athletes by Forbes, a list topped by tennis great Serena Willams.
With total earnings of $5.5 million, Sindhu is tied for the 13th place in The Highest-Paid Female Athletes 2019 list released by Forbes on Tuesday.
