MADRID: Real Madrid have budgeted for revenues of €617 million in 2020/21, around €300 million less than the LaLiga giants would have otherwise generated were it not for the COVID-19 pandemic, a statement on their financial results for last year indicates. LaLiga rivals FC Barcelona have also predicted similar revenue income drops for the current campaign.

MUMBAI: According to the latest financial report of Spanish professional football, corresponding to the most recent completed season (2017/18), LaLiga's clubs posted revenue of €4.479 billion, representing growth of 20.6% over the previous season.

MADRID: LaLiga has released its annual financial report and has documented an all-time record amount of revenues of $4.55 billion from the 2016-17 season.  This represents an increase of nearly 50% in the last 5 seasons. It has mentioned a year-on- year increase of $621 million, which has been generated due to a centralized model of broadcast rights.
