MUMBAI: Private sector lender IDFC First Bank has repotedly secured the title rights for the home international series of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).  It has acquired the rights for Rs 4.2 crore per international game as compared to the previous value of Rs 3.8 crore, Cricbuzz on friday. The base price for the bidding was set at Rs 2.4 crore.

MUMBAI: The Commonwealth Games Federation (CGF) has said that the Canadian Province of Alberta has withdrawn a bid for the 2030 Commonwealth Games. The reason given by Alberta, who was the "preferred host" is exhaustive costs, the same reason which forced Victoria to pull out of staging the 2026 Commonwealth Games.

MUMBAI: In a first, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has set a higher base price for digital rights compared with those for TV. Moreover, the board has reduced the collective base price (TV+Digital) to ₹45 crore per match for the upcoming media rights cycle. The base price stood at ₹61 crore per match whch was what Disney Star paid in the recent cycle.
