MUMBAI: The International Cricket Council executive board is having its first meeting of the year in Dubai Wednesday and Thursday. The ICC will be discussing, among other things, ways in which greater context can be afforded to Test, ODI and Twenty20 International cricket outside major ICC events as well as the location and scheduling of events after 2015 under the newly agreed Future Tours Programme.

Also on the table for discussion are an update on preparations for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011, which will take place in Bangladesh, India and Sri Lanka, and Ireland's intention to apply for full membership.
